Roof Insulation
Improve the energy efficiency of your home from the roof
A poorly insulated roof can account forup to 30% of heat lossin a home. By insulating your roof, you benefit from immediate comfort, a significant reduction in your energy consumption, and a more efficient home all year round.
We provide tailored solutions for every type of roof, whether flat, sloped, old or new.
Why insulate your roof?
Reduction of heat loss
The roof is the primary source of thermal losses. Good insulation creates an effective barrier against the cold in winter and the heat in summer.
Guaranteed energy savings
By reducing your heating consumption, you directly lower your bills — while increasing indoor comfort.
Enhancement of your property
A well-insulated roof improves yourEPC, increases the value of your property and extends the lifespan of your roof.
Acoustic comfort
In addition to thermal performance, certain materials improve sound insulation, providing greater comfort.
Whatever your roof, we have the right solution.
Every roof has its technical specifics. We adapt our insulation solutions according to the structure and configuration of your home:
01

Sloped Roof
The most common type in Belgium. Allows for several techniques: insulation from the inside, outside, or under the roof.
02

Flat roof
Ideal for external insulation (warm roof, inverted roof) or internal insulation depending on the structure.
03

Mansard roof
Requires a specific approach with several sloped planes and difficult-to-access areas.
04

Lost space roof
A very effective and economical solution through blowing or insufflation of insulation.
Coatings suitable for each roof
The materials covering your roof determine how and where to insulate. We master all configurations:
01

Tile roof
The most common system. Allows for complete insulation from the inside or outside (sarking).
02

Slate roof (natural or artificial)
Requires more delicate handling. Insulation possible from the inside or outside.
03

Metal roof
Good thermal conductivity, insulation must be particularly effective.
04

Flat roof
Insulation with rigid panels or inverted technique for durable waterproofing.
EPDM: very durable rubber, long lifespan, low maintenance
Bitumen / roofing: traditional solution, good waterproofing
TPO: modern and durable thermoplastic membrane
These roofs require insulationfrom the outsidewith suitable rigid panels
Our roofing insulation techniques
Each roof is unique. That’s why we choose high-performance materials (rock wool, PIR, PUR, cellulose…) and the technique most suited to the structure, slope, and desired finish.
We guarantee optimal, durable insulation that complies with current standards.
01
Insulation from the inside (under-roof)
When?
Roof in good condition
No roof renovation planned
Limited budget
Easy access to the attic
Ideal for sloped roofs (tiles, slates)
How?
We place the insulationbetweenandunder the rafters, then we add a vapour barrier and an interior finish.
Advantages:
The most economical solution
Quick installation
Very good thermal performance
Limitations:
Slightly reduces the space under the roof
Does not correct thermal bridges in the framework
02
Insulation from the outside (Sarking)
When?
Complete roof renovation
Roof covering to be replaced (tiles, slates)
Looking for premium insulation
House with exposed rafters or aesthetic needs
How?
Insulating panels are placedabovethe rafters, before the installation of the covering (tiles, slates…).
Advantages:
Eliminates 100% of thermal bridges
Preserves the interior volume
Exceptional performance
Ideal for sloped roofs (tiles, natural or artificial slates)
Limitations:
Higher cost
Requires removal of the existing covering
